Which Bank is the best for debit card use?
So I'm a student at a boarding school, so my parents thought it would be the best to get me a debit card.
I always thought of getting Bank of America, just because it's everywhere and really convenient, but people tell me not to because they are charging stuff or something (?) I don't really know.
I heard Chase is really good, too.
They both have a store at my town, so that's not a problem for me.
So, which one is the best for a student's debit card? Also, if there is any other bank that you would recommend, please tell me
Thanks
Answer
Actually the best debit card your parents can get you is a prepaid debit card from Western Union. They can put your monthly allowance on it at their end and you can spend it at yours. If the card gets stolen or skimmed, the only money that can disappear is what is actually on the card. It's impossible to overdraw.
