One couldn't have too much of a good thing definitely wasn't referring to student credit cards as The more student credit cards there are in a student's wallet, the more tempted they'll be to go on little spending binges. It is better to not have more than two student credit cards open at any given time. When some students get their very first student credit cards they like to think of it as a license to spend without even thinking once. But the fact is far away from this. It is better to save the student credit cards for emergency purposes only.
After getting the very first student credit cards it is easy to forget that every time a purchase is made with the card but the student is going to need the cash to back that purchase up. When one gets a student credit card, it may be hard not to flash that card in front of friends just buying a few rounds of beer or a lunch or two. But it is recommended to avoid the temptation.
A student has to pay student credit cards on time each month otherwise it will lead to a bad credit in the future resulting in not being able to rent an apartment or buy a home even affecting job opportunities.

Student Loan Application - Further Review?
Today, I filled out a loan from chase for a Certified Private Loan. My Co-signer makes a little higher then 100k a year, with great credit, and I'm unemployed. My credit took a big hit since I'm unemployed, I had a credit card enter collections, but it was the credit cards fault so its being turned around, so I'm thinking that might have something to do with it.
I figured it would go through immediately (Chase), like it usually does. But I got a message saying it was being looked at for further review, and I would be getting a response within 14 days.
What could be the cause of that? Could it be that I'm filling the loan out late in the year and they have a lot of other students doing the same? Any help would be great..
Do you think it will take the full two weeks for a decision, or is there any way to know? My first class of this semester is on the 1st, and I've always been able to pay strictly using federal loans, so now its a pain.. I wish I could have done this earlier in the year..
Answer
Usually, its a 50/50 percent king of situation, I had the same message when applying and I got the Private loan, my friend in the other hand had the same message and got denied.
