My debit card is with visa on a First internet bank of indiana online account which shows how much money is on the debit card
So would the money go to the debit card and appear on the online accout of First IB?

A big problem is people who spend money on the debit card in good faith while they do have a positive balance and have money in the account. The reasoning they have is that they shouldn't get fees because they had money at the time of the purchase. While that may be true, perhaps they didn't account for a large check that was written that cleared first thus causing the snowball effect. May be harsh, but they shouldn't have spent money they didn't have.
