Can someone give me some run down on getting credit card processing before I sign up for its service?

In a few days' time, I will be getting credit card processing service. Any tips or ideas before I sign up?

Stick to the basics. Compare credit card processing companies with regards to their fees and service. get two or three prospective companies from your list and run background checks on them. When you finally choose from among them, don't sign up in a hurry. Negotiate for the best deals. Haggle for the competitive pricing and be firm in your stand.
I came across an article that answers your question. Just visit the link that I provided below.

Before you sign up have you determined how long you contract is and how much is the early termination fee? that fee can run several thousand dollars !
I use millenium. There is no long term contract and no early termination fee.

  1. Borat says:

we should all try to go to his site and bring it down. just keep his shopping cart rotating, eventually it will crash. also by placing wrong credit card numbers we can cost him some money – I am sure he gets pay commissions and credit card processing companies are charging something even for erroneous transaction or at least his cost will go up for service requested from them

  2. I have a site that I want to sell an ebook on – I’ve talked to 3 credit card processing companies and none will approve me since of the digital download, even though I also offer a hard copy of the book as an alternative. Anybody have a recommendation?
